White Salmon Wildflower Festival

  • White Salmon Valley Community Library 7 Northeast Wauna Avenue White Salmon, WA, 98672 United States (map)

White Salmon Wildflower Festival, to be held annually in May, is nestled in the largest scenic area in America, The Columbia River Gorge.

The White Salmon Wildflower Festival unites our community to celebrate the natural beauty in and around White Salmon by advocating for the preservation and appreciation of wildflowers.  The founding principles of ecotourism guide the White Salmon Wildflower Festival; responsible travel to natural areas that conserve the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people and involves interpretation and education.

Join us for a conversation with Eileen Garvin, author of the national best-seller The Music of Bees.  Garvin will talk about her books, writing, and being a caretaker to approximately 120,000 honeybees. Book sales and signing following the program.
